I paired it with my SmartThings hub which is using the latest Edge drivers.
It showed up properly as a remote.
In SmartThings the remote has a list of 4 buttons, for each button you select what action it does for each of the 3 possible button states.
I just winged it without trying to read the very tiny print instruction sheet.
