I don't go around to shows and flea markets etc looking for things I can make a profit on. I ran a successful collectibles store for 25 years after I left the Marines and ALL the stuff I'm selling is leftover inventory from my store. We also dabbled in Mail Order - If you remember seeing ads in all the major Card Magazines for a company named "SANART", that was me.
Now I'm doing eBay to 1) Get rid of this stuff 2) Have something to do - Retirement can be boring to someone not used to sitting by the pool 8 hours a day. 3) Have fun 4) Make money - yes, that's one of the reasons, but notice it's #4 not #1. At this point, I'd rather male a little money dealing with pleasant people than make a lot of money dealing with a ball-busters. You can say I'm "burnt-out" of that.
So.... If you like my stuff and my prices and want to deal with someone who's not looking to rip you off, but rather give you exactly what you want - give me a try.
