Great value for a budget minded family computer.
2 personnes sur 3 ont jugé cet avis utile. Was looking for a iMac experience with a value price tag. For the money this unit is a KILLER machine. Wish Apple still offered this size - even if we didn't have budget constraints the 27" unit would have been to large and the 21" just seemed too small.
Since we bought it we have maxed out the ram to 4GB, this really made a difference and only cost about $60.00. Also replaced the hard drive with a 7200 rpm 1TB unit.
Running the newest Microsoft Office for Mac suite on the unit - no problems, iPhoto library has about 32000 pictures - no issues, iMovie has a few crashing issues when building some projects - CPU will max out and system just locks - seen this on even "beefier" Mac's.
I wouldn't buy this unit for use in a Graphic Design office, but for use as a families primary computer with users that have above average needs and access at work to "beefier" Macs this machine is still solid.
For basic email, web, word processing, day to day activities, this machine is great. Not disappointed in this purchase at all - in fact recommending to my family and friends who are looking to break out of the PC market and over to the Mac family.

Great value for a student or mobile worker.
Solid machine - this product is a workhorse in a compact package.
Bought this MacBook Pro as a graduation gift for our daughter who is graduating and heading off to college.
Even buying this product used, it blows away the cheap PC based laptops coming off the big box retailer shelves at twice the spend. Spend your money wisely and buy a TOOL not a TOY.
