Dell true mobile 2300 Wireless Router quite nice
As it comes from the factory this router is smokin fast as compared to all other brands in its arena. It is faster , reaches farther , and has far less faults.. The router handles a heavy traffic load ( wireless and wired ) better and for longer than Netgears 54 g routers and by far Linksys 54 g routers.. having used about 17 different routers over the past 5 years most home use wireless routers are small faulty boxes of over priced junk. When my sister asked me to help her purchase a cheaper used wireless router online I was not expecting nor planning on buying The Dell TrueMobile 2300 Wireless broadband router. It was only after I spent some time looking around in WiFi message boards and WiFi hardware review sites that I was seeing alot of reviews describing the same type of experiences I've had . However there were very few complaints about the Dell 2300 ( complaints were related to lack of functional modding / upgrading features ). Most everything I came across described an easy yet powerful product packed with a good featureful setup program ( firewall, DMZ , Ftp , port forwarding , WEP, password protection, SSID , etc.... etc....). So I spotted one up on auction in Ebay (for a good price)thought "have tried almost all the other home/office class wireless routers" put in my highest bid, and won the auction. When I first hooked it up and made the changes to the settings I like, I figured why not benchmark the Router and see if what all other people are saying holds up to be true.. Well this router performed and returned constant scores just as high as the ones seen in the reviews, and it did this for over 7 days of constant use never reset nor turned off ; the performance did not degrade or fault. The Dell 2300 really put the last wireless router "I set up for a friend" to shame, and it was a Linksys 54GS version 3. Linksys really let me down! (I use a product of Adtran for my home wireless networking needs "bit price-y") Anyway, back to the Dell 2300 router .. It is a sweet little router for an average to moderate usage enviroment giving higher quality than the competition and without costing right under $ 100.00 . I am not selling one of these routers , "just bought one and was kindly surprised with how well it functions". The one thing I will note is that this is not a good router for the more advanced upgrading user who likes to Mod / or / tweak their routers. "no detachable antenna on this one" .... But if you like the products you buy to perform well without the need to spend additional time and money on hardware that should already work seamlessly then this might just fit your needs... Run a few searches and read up on a few of the reviews and ratings on and about home/office routers. I'll just say that the high scores and ratings for the Dell 2300 wireless router ' are real and you can expect the router to live up to it; the one my sister is using does. By the way; I think I am right when I say that Dell no longer makes The router,, BUT there are sure to be some floating around for sale on Ebay.... (((( Send me a message if you know of any new tricks this Router can pull off, or any good Mod s you have done ; I'd like to know just how well it went for you)))).....

Competent Dual Recorder _Facile usance & Immense issue
Panasonic steps up ^ with this one. Produces stunning clear pictures through playback with VHS or DVD ; DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD_ROM /VCD.. (Sound is reproduced clearly as well). Especially with playback of VHS recordings, The video is astonishing, "greatly enhanced". Nothing used before could even come close to matching this Recorder's (FF)_&_(REV)speeds. Scanning through video was never easier. The Navigation Menu provides an easy way to record multiple videos/clips on to a single DVD disk. There are also features for customizing your own DVD introduction screens with seperate chapter settings for each video/clip desired. All the features one would expect are extant. This RECORDER is great for recording TV programs while one is away from the TV & for converting VHSs to DVDs ; DVDs to VHSs , or recording to [either form] from an input source (such as A/V and DV "with easy access front ports"). The only thing that it falls short of is an internal Hard Drive for recording and replay. However both the VHS & DVD recorders facilitate and accomplish the same purpose. Powerful results combined with ease of use. : )

Dual purpose Monitor & HDTV Great for kitchen/bedroom
Using the Samsung P2570HD as I write this; Yes I bought one. If you’re going to use this as a monitor I suggest connecting it with a quality DVI-D cable, using VGA not recommended. One can use a HDMI connection, however there is only one: use HDMI for a game console or Blue ray player. When using as a PC monitor READ THE MANUAL as the input one uses needs to be named PC in the input naming menu in order to achieve the best picture quality. As expected the speakers are not that good for a noisy environment or for playing games / music on the PC. The monitor buttons are touch sensitive (takes a little getting used to) in the menu there are configurable button settings. The best button setting being button visual intensity, this way in a bark room the power button will not distract or blind the user. In addition the remote control is quite nice to have & use. The Samsung P2570HD is very attractive; transparent surfaces, black in color with a touch of red showing through. No glare on the 16:9 matte screen. Has Sharp, vibrant video reproduction for a TFT TN screen. Looked over several dozen monitors before choosing this one. It is not the lowest priced monitor I considered, but then, who really wants a cheap poorly designed piece of hardware that one is going to look at for long periods of time. For a monitor only display look at the Samsung SyncMaster XL2370 LED monitor. One Samsung P2570HD & two Samsung XL2370 s make a pleasing Eyefinity display. NOTE: to push three displays in an Eyefinity display, one will need a Display port to DVI-D adapter (ie, two on DVI-D and one on Display port.
