Ninja Gaiden 2 now with more blood!
Ninja Gaiden 2 is the sequel to the successful and popular Ninja Gaiden on original xbox. The original Ninja Gaiden games were on NES but that's not what I'm reviewing. Ninja Gaiden 2 looks amazing but won't take your breath away the way the first one did. Ninja Gaiden is no longer the benchmark for graphics on the 360. NG was the pinnacle of great graphics on original xbox along with other games such as splinter cell chaos theory. I'm rambling here a little but the point is yes the graphics are great but not on par with the level of Gears of war 2 or even gears one for that matter. The story picks right off from the first one. But its not very that interesting in the first place so I won't go into specifics. I'm a big story person I love to be immersed in the world and NG2 fails in that respect. But it does make you feel like a bad ass ninja. Pulling off devastating moves with ease. The difficulty level has been brought down a little but on the harder difficulty levels it's still there. The problem with NG2 is the camera. It's suitable at best and game crippling at it's worst. Where you'll literally die during boss fights due to the awful camera. The saving grace of this game is that's it's just really fun when things go right jumping kicking etc... It's not a perfect game but definitely worth a look if you like action games or ninja games or played the original. Just don't go expecting something revolutionary. Just a fun game to pass the time that'll make you feel like a bad ass. Just watch out for the quirky camera and some cheap shots from certain enemies.

Command & Conquer RA3 now with more Tim Curry
Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 is an RTS. So if you do not like real time strategy games do not purchase this game. So moving on if you are a fan or have never played an RTS this is a great game to start with. I won't go into too much detail but one of the main strengths in this game is it's ridiculous campy story. Tim curry is just so great at what he does. You'll want to play more and more just to see what more ridiculous things they have in store.

THE definition of a JRPG
If you do not like the eastern take on role playing games, then this game definitely will not change your mind. Final Fantasy games are about telling emotional stories or at least they try whether or not they mean something is completely subjective. Final Fantasy 13 does boast a compelling turn based fighting (battle) system. Although it takes roughly a dozen hours or so until you unlock the entire system. The story is intriguing although the dialogue can make you cringe. If you're a fan of the previous games then by all means jump in, but if you've been weaned on "western" rpg's like Mass Effect and Fallout 3 then you will most likely be disappointed with this game. Know what you're getting into before purchasing this game. If turn based combat and selecting abilities from a list with deep tactical meaning doesn't sound like fun to you then this is not the game you are looking for.
