Well built and high quality but a bit large
We purchased this to replace the screen top on our Exo Terra Wide Large (40g breeder) terrarium. This terrarium has front opening doors and is a great product, but the screen top left a lot to be desired. We wanted something that was all metal with a wide mesh instead of the fine mesh screen and plastic frame. Considering that this new screen top is also by Exo Terra we figured that it would be a solid fit. As it turns out, it's actually a little bit on the length and width for the Exo Terra Wide Large terrarium. It fits over the top but has room on all sides, and the doors do hit the front frame when opening. All that aside, I think it's work it. With some slight modifications to the screen top it can be made to fit tightly and also the front frame can be rolled in a bit to accommodate for the front opening doors. For anyone with a good set of tools and a bit of engineering savvy, you'll be very pleased with this screen top replacement.
