Best Pokemon Game Ever.
Best Pokemon game ever made to date. This game is ridiculously fun. The map is so large, they hand picked the best pokemon from every generation, and there are memes and references everywhere. I love it. Only thing I disdain is horde battles...

Overall, Pokemon White is a forgettable game.
0 personnes sur 15 ont jugé cet avis utile. To be honest, this game disappointed me deeply. I grew up with Pokemon, so I remember the days when they actually looked somewhat like animals (or rocks). The new Pokemon keep getting more and more retarded-looking, and in this particular game I didn't even want to begin playing because I hated the look of the starters so much.
I bought this particular game for my boyfriend for Christmas, and he enjoyed it somewhat; his gamer pride wouldn't allow him to trade Pokemon until he beat the Elite 4, so he stuck with all the crappy Pokemon gen 5 had to offer. The little serpent starter kind of grew on us, but beyond him finding aesthetically pleasant Pokemon that also kicked ass in battle was a challenge in itself. It was almost an unintended side quest. He often complained about how dumb the Pokemon looked. The only saving grace, in his opinion, was that the Elite 4 was actually challenging in that game; partly because their Pokemon were so strong, but also because finding cool Pokemon who had type advantages over them was a huge pain.
Overall, Pokemon Black is a forgettable game. I continue to play my Heart Gold version without wanting much more, and my boyfriend also prefers his Soul Silver version. Honestly, Nintendo could have done better.

A pleasant mistake.
I was pretty mad when I first got it in the mail because I'd meant to order the special edition Legend of Zelda DS. This one showed up in my search results simply because it came with the new Ocarina of Time remake. It also came with a case and car charger and Mario 3D Land, but altogether that cost me as much as the only thing I wanted--the system, special edition. You can imagine my face when I opened the box and saw a plain, black DS staring back at me. I thought about returning it, but the good news is that it works perfectly so I've decided to settle... For now.
