Yet another great rerelease!
The Gameboy Advance did not have a partner game that was released along side of it, but instead they are re-releasing many of the original Mario games, the first of which is Super Mario Bros. 2. Each 'Advance' mario game also comes with the arcade game of Mario Bros. from 1981, which is also an in game mini game for SMB3. Enough chit-chat, though, lets get down to business : This game is awesome. It features all of the goods of the original SMB2 along with more freedom of character choice, new enemies and powerups, new music, and top it all of with a graphical face lift, and what you have does sound to great. However, SMB2 alone would've been a great re-release, and this rerelease kicks it up a couple notches.

Mario returns
The game came quickly, and the game its self is very fun, with secret/extra levels and a fun boo mini game once you beat it, I was satisfied and am very happy with the purchase

Decent enough
Well, celebrating Mario's 20th anniversary as a console video game character, Nintendo has decided to kick off a series of re-releases of classic NES game, starting, of course, Super Mario Bros. Basically, this isn't a bad port. I think that personally the game itself is great. But unless you can't handle buying anything more than 3 years old, don't spend your money on this. A much better port of this was released 5 years earlier for the gameboy color called 'Super Mario Bros. Deluxe', which had the original, along with a versus mode, in which you and another Mario player could race through a level via link cable. It also had a 'challenge' mode in which you explore a level, rather than race to complete it. Its unlockables included a 1 player racing game in which you race Boo instead of another Mario player, along with a port of 'The Lost Levels', once you beat the 300000 point high score, along with a couple of fun little time wasters in the toy box. I guess this has turned into a review of SMBDX instead of this SMB, but heck; unless you're absolutely convinced that you can be entertained for days on end with a single 32-level 8-bit Mario game, find a copy of SMBDX for the Gameboy Color, it'll be cheaper and more for your money.
