It’s a $40 camera that doesn’t friggin work!
3 personnes sur 5 ont jugé cet avis utile. I bought this camera because I wanted to try discreet filming. Not in a creepy way. Off the bat I noticed $40 was a bit much for a tiny little camera.
Soon, I realized it wasn’t worth the $40 and promptly returned it the following weekend. Here’s why..
It gets too hot when charging, and the junky thing wasn’t compatible with any computer in my home, and there were no way to view what I had recorded as a test. I plugged it in once, and it was only detected that one time.
There is no way to tell when it needs to be charged, and when it is and is not recording. You have to press the record button to turn it on, and I could never tell if it recorded automatically, or I had to manually press the button to record.
Didn’t know if it was recording while charging. There were too many design flaws with this product for me to even use it. From other reviews. The file type it records in, is very specific and you need to decode it.
It takes a Micro SD card and the card that comes with it is 8GB, also looks very generic. I think the heat from the camera screwed up the card.
I accidentally put it in the wrong way, and it legit got stuck, and when I went to take it out, the card itself snapped in two pieces. I was done with this thing right there.
Also, in said reviews, it doesn’t work with modern OS’s on computers. Not even Windows 7, and it sure as hell didn’t work on my Mac. Someone pointed out that it is only compatible with outdated Windows softwares that most of us do not use.
Save your money. Don’t buy this, it’s junky. It’s flawed. If you’re thinking of using this as a dash cam, security camera. Or to catch a nosy neighbor in place of a Ring Doorbell.
Think twice, wish I had read the reviews before getting this. Thankfully I was able to return it and get my $40 back in credit. I’ll take that over being stuck with something I can never use.
Waste of $40, and probably the worst camera I’ve ever used.
