Standing in the Shadows of Motown (2003, DVD)
Such a great DVD about a most incredible group of artists who were the talent behind all those great Motown sounds from the 60s. If you've never seen this movie (or even if you have), this is a great DVD to view again and again.

Jumble Extravaganza Holiday by Time Inc. Home Entertain

Thank God It's Friday
This is a great way to relive the 1970s disco era (the good and the bad). But you can't go wrong with a movie that begins and ends with a young Donna Summer and features the Commodores (check out Lionel Ritchie) singing at the disco. Jeff Goldblum plays his ever-suave role, and that young gal whose face looked so familiar to me turned out to be a very young Debra Winger! It's a real "camp" movie and was lots of fun to watch. (I bought it as a gift but couldn't help but watch it before sending it to my friend who is eternally in love with all things Donna Summer.)
