Rabbids Go Home
My 9 year old daughter absolutely loves this newest edition in the Rabbid's crazy adventures! It may be rated 10 and up, but after trying it out myself first (as I do any game to be sure it's appropriate for my children), I found it reasonably easy and well within her abilities. As usual with the Rabbids there is the occasional excess in physical violence (usually only to themselves!). However, if you have children who understand the difference between real life and fantasy and have no inclination to mimic everything they see, then the Rabbid's actions appear more silly than violent. I hope your kids enjoy it as much as mine do!
New Original Himalayan Dog Chew Pet Hound Puppy Treats, Mixed 3 Piece Pack

Great chew for my dogs!
I was really surprised by how hard these chews were. My Smooth Collie is a pretty tough chewer so I'm always on the lookout for edible chews that will last more than a few minutes. This is a dog who will get through a large knuckle bone in about half a day if I let him so I wasn't expecting these Himalayan chews to make it more than 10 minutes. But I was truly surprised when by the end of the day there was still about half of it left! I gave the other half back to him the next day and again, it took about the whole day for him to get through. He actually had to take breaks from his chewing it was so tough. This is something he's never done before. Ever. He usually chews until whatever it is gone. Now it's not a as hard as a Nylabone chew toy (which my guy won't bother with because they're not made to be edible), and I'm sure a super power chewer with more serious bite strength (Rottweiler, Pit Bull, Staffordshire) could get through it pretty quickly, but for the average tough chewer of edible chews this is something to consider when you need to occupy your pup for more than a few minutes. I really am sold on these chews and will be stocking up on them instead of rawhides or large bones from now on!

Dsi XL delivers quite nicely.
My 9 year old daughter has been wanting one of these since they came out. She saved her money, researched it all herself and priced them out all over the web. I read the reviews and was a little sceptical due to some of the issues people have mentioned... 1 being too heavy, 2 image pixelation too pronounced, 3 not as easy to carry around. I mentioned these things to her, but she stuck with it. Well, it came today and not only is she thrilled with it, I have to admit to being impressed with it as well. For its overall size, the weight is really surprising. I thought it would be a little heavier than it looked, but I didn't find it so. The size isn't an issue as she tends to wear large pocket sweat jackets and plans on getting a padded carry case for it. She's even already found the perfect way to hold it in her lap so she doesn't have to hold it in her hands! As for the picture quality...its not that bad. You can see the pixelation on the edges of the items in the games, but after a few minutes, you don't even think about it. Even the set up for the internet was relatively easy and as a parent the parental controls are a fabulous plus. Overall, I think the new XL is a nice addition, particularly if you prefer a larger screen and/or like something a little more substantial to hang onto. If you prefer smaller, easy to hide, and are a big stickler about the smoothest looking image possible, stick with the Dsi.
