Good Electric Motor, Bad Everything Else
Everything about this part is cheap, which is to be expected, it's 1/4 the price of an OEM shift motor. Compared to OEM, the magnets and brushes inside the motor are smaller, and the electrical connectors are very loose. I know this because I had to take it apart since the housing came machined wrong. The recess for the Shift Sensor was so badly off that the sensor would not fit down inside and the O-ring would never seal. I ended up using my old housing and taking both motors apart to use parts from each to finally end up with a single motor assembly that worked and fit properly. So far the motor works perfectly and the motor itself actually looked better quality than the OEM one but everything else was a lot worse. I spent more time trying to figure out how the Chinese workers managed to hold 2 springs with brushes back to put the motor in at the same time than I spent actually changing the part. Personally, I would recommend buying OEM or at least from somewhere that's a step of trustworthiness above this seller.
