Not impressed.
I expected more out of this book. It was brief in some areas and not very well thought out. The contents are broad but yet not specific to real details and craftsmanship. I'm surprised Stanley didn't do a better job. The quality of the print is fine. But the book lacks enthusiasm to get the more trained person to actually work on details and simply have fun. This book really didn't hold up to it's title. I'll try Sunset Books next or simply pay more for the detailed book I'm looking for. Geared more towards new work rather than old work.

Superior For Artists
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. If you're trying to break into the industry and know nothing about drawing I can only recommend you buy this book. There are many out there but this one will enhance your collection. Concise and easy to read. Currently out of print but can be found on ebay.
