replace 3 1.5v throw-a-way batteries with one 3.7v Li-ion battery.
Nice that they are AA size, so you can replace three 1.5 v batters with one of these 3.7v Lithium-ion Rechargeable Batteries. Then all you have to do is complete the circuit by connecting the open end of the battery to the open end of the unit that is to be power by it. Good quality too!
