Something Wild
It's a raucous, fast moving story of how your behaviour will suddenly go haywire when your heart is hit by a previously unknown and unexperienced emotion. Fab! And a stonking soundtrack.

Frank Crumit raised from the dead.
Grandad used to play Frank Crumit on his wind up gramophone in the 1950's when I was enthralled by the magic of it all. To hear these lovely old (and sometimes daft) songs again is wonderful. The quality of the sound on the cd is very good and reproduces excellently on the sound system. Grannie's old armchair - one of the songs on the cd - is one of those tunes and word snippets that stay with you for ever, as it did with me for over 50 years and I was still able to "accompany" Frank Crumit when I played the song again after all these years. Good stuff, thanks.

Lonnie D
Much of this cd is taken from the original Chris Barber 10in LP from nineteen fifty plonk, on which was Lonnie Donegan singing (oh, all right, whining) Rock Island Line. This was my immediate and prime reason for getting the disc. The absolute delight on getting it and having the fist listen was Chris Barber singing "It's Tight Like That" - a rip roaring old time trad jazz "item". And I remembered it word for word from 50 years ago! I'm not sure whether to be pleased with my memory or sad at the paucity of life experience over the last 50 years. Whatever, it's a super cd for any old fart fan of fifties fluff!
