I grew up with my mom listening to this in her car for as long as I can remember. I remember all of the songs, but never grew an appreciation for it again until recently I listened to the lyrics and realized how politically driven and emotionally compelling they are.
Tracy Chapman uses her stirring voice mixed with her ability to write amazing songs on poverty and the struggles of African-Americans in today's society. Although this was produced 20 years ago, most of the lyrics still hold up to today.
If you're looking for something new to listen to, but nothing is good on the radio, get this CD - you won't regret it.

Keroppi Fans Unite!
The movie is not that great - but if you're a Keroppi fan this is the movie for you. My friend is a huge fan and I got it almost as a gag gift, but we actually sat and enjoyed watching every minute of the cartoon. You will enjoy it if you're a Keroppi fan.
