Excellent firearm resource.
What can you say about a book that has information about 25,000 different models of guns? If you are looking for a great reference book for most all firearms produced, that is full of photos, pricing information, gun details, and some history, then this is the book for you! Let's face it, this is not the kind of book that you sit down in the easy chair to read with your drink beside you! But, it is the first book you reach for if you have a question about a specific firearm and want the facts! Also, I honestly do not believe it is necessary to purchase a new volume every year. If you purchase a version of this book that is one or two years old, you can pick it up on eBay %50 to %80 less than retail!

A good DVD to own to gain some knowledge!

It honestly really doesn't matter whether you are in the former group or the latter group. Put aside your feelings for him, and buy the DVD! As with any documentary, the information that is presented could be considered to be skewed in the writer/director's favor. However, Bowling for Coumbine still covers some very interesting (and supposedly factual) details about gun use and crime in America, as compared to many other countries. Whether you are a gun owner, or against firearms completely, this is a good DVD to watch if you are interested in gaining some knowledge about what has happened in the US in the past and what is happening now!

Hollywood's version of Joss Whedon's great story...
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Joss Whedon is a fantastic writer, but Hollywood's version of Buffy (the movie) doesn't hold a candle to Buffy the TV series. The movie was somewhat entertaining, and if they had never made the TV series, it would have been fine. However, now that we all know about the 7 season TV show, and how it really can be done, the movie looks particularly bad. It is campy, there is not as much backstory as there should have been, and the over-the-top Hollywood style shows through. The movie did have Kristy Swanson, David Arquette, Luke Perry and Donald Sutherland, which is cool. However, if you are a serious fan of Buffy the TV series (like myself), then you probably should see this movie to see how "it all started", but be aware it has a very different flavor to it than Buffy the TV series!
