Good game but complicated for the kids.
If you read the manual, this is an extremely fun game but explaining it to a 2nd-grader is the biggest challenge yet. Still it's good to have in the game closet. It's already out-dated being 2 years-old when I purchased it. We only bought it because it was an absolute bargain.

This Game Rocks!!!
The kids absolutely love this game. They play with their Hotwheels cars and then challenge each other to races on the Hotwheels game. It's not quite as interactive as the Grand Theft Auto series but unlike GTA, the kids are allowed to play this one. They get to choose and modify their cars with add-ons and decals and then race against each other and the clock. I can't stress this enough...it's great that someone is making "clean" games that kids can play that aren't just copies of some boring 80's game template.
