A Great Reference Source for Meccano Dinky Toys.
This book is a great help to collectors of Dinky toys - the only thing missing is the line of Dinky Matchbox toys issued by Matchbox International, Tyco and Mattel - and the new reproductions by Atlas Dinky / Norev. I have Dr. Edward Force's books on Matchbox Toys, Corgi Toys and Italian Diecast brands as well - all of them are terrific reference sources.

Atlas Dinky Models
From the standpoint of a serious toy car collector and from someone who has published 2 books on Scale Model Collectible Cars since 2010 (primarily on the brands of Lesney Matchbox, Matchbox International, Corgi and Schuco) it is really very nice to see that the old Dinky Meccano toy cars are being reproduced through Atlas (Mattel). It would be great to see the same thing done with the Lesney Matchbox products, Corgi products (now owned by Hornby) and more. One can say the same thing with respect to "real" cars as well - I've published 3 books on Volkswagen AG since 2010 in addition to the 2 books on Scale Model Collectible Cars. The Porsche 356 is being reproduced today, because there are simply not enough original examples to satisfy collector demand. And these "repro" cars are by no means inexpensive - merely not into 6 figures like pristine original examples of the Porsche 356 Coupe and Cabriolet.
