Goodtime Rock and Roll from the Raiders!
Paul Revere and the Raiders were one of the biggest hitmakers in America in the 1960's. Although their music is often looked down upon as "kiddie-pop" or bubblegum" it was a lot more than that. Their early sound was pure party-rock (think of the soundtrack from "Animal House"). Their biggest hits can compare favorably to the Beach Boys catalog. This is an excellent overview of their output through the years. if you've forgotten how much pure fun they were, this set will bring it all back for you. if you don't remember them, this set will open your eyes to some really great good-time American Rock and Roll music that is timeless and joyous. How can you beat that?

This is a very interesting book. It combines an adventure story with lessons from history which were forgotten or hidden from us.
