Good value, but motor may not be up to the task, especially on a bigger piece
3 personnes sur 3 ont jugé cet avis utile. Item seemed good and all, but the motor died after just a couple of sessions. Which is a shame really, because when the machine worked I found it hurt much much less than a coil machine. Sadly after the motor died, I had to have my piece finished with a coil machine, the difference in pain is really noticeable. My suggestion would be not to wrap your rubber bands very tight at all if you intend to use rubber bands with this machine. It could be that the rubber bands generate too much tension and assist in burning the motor out. The motor now will only move if motivated to, and the machine can only run a 3-5 volts now, and can easily be stopped with the fingers. So if you are buying this machine, I would get an extra motor or two. Also disposable grips and tubes are too long for this machine, you would need to cut about half an inch off of them, this isn't really a problem as long as you can re sterilize. But advertising that it can use all standard needles and such is a bit misleading. If my artist had not had a spare coil machine, I would have had an unfinished piece. Again when the machine was working it really put ink in my skin very comfortably, and lines looked good.
