An Excellent Read
This is the second installment to the "Castaways of the Flying Dutchman" series which follows the further adventures of Ben and his faithful dog Ned. I read the "Castaways of the Flying Dutchman" and really enjoyed it. So when I found out there was a second book in the series I had to read it also. "Angel's Command" is equally as good as the first book. Brian Jacques has a way of describing things that makes you feel like you are right there with Ben and Ned feeling and experiencing the same things they are. If you like a little mystery, swashbuckling pirates then this book is for you. This book, in my opinion, is an awesome read and I can't wait to read the third book in the series, "Voyage of Slaves".

An excellent book
I bought "F is for Fugitive" by Sue Grafton because I like the way she writes. She has a way of getting your attention and keeping your interest through out the story. I enjoy her Kinsey Milhone alphabet mystery series so much that I decided to collect them all in hardbound editions. If you want to read a great suspenseful mystery with a lady private detective, this is the book for you. I give it 5 stars.

An Excellent Read
This is the third installment to the "Castaways of the Flying Dutchman" series, which is about the further adventures of 14 year old Ben and his faithful black lab Ned. I read the first book, "Castaways of the Flying Dutchman", then the second book, "The Angel's Command" and enjoyed both. So when the third book, "Voyage of Slaves" came out I had to read it also. Brian Jacques has a way of descibing his characters and their lives that puts you right there with Ben and Ned, experiencing everything they experience. If you like a little mystery, swahbuckling pirates, women smugglers, and corrupt slavers, then this is the book for you. In my opinion, this book is an awesome read and I hope Mr. Jacques is in the process of writing a fourth book to this series.
