Terrific movie, had me in stitches!
This was/is a very fun and funny movie about an overachieving private school student and his huge crush on a teacher in the faculty. I'm surprised I haven't seen it until now, it came out in the 90's. Bill Murray is also great.
I would highly recommend this movie if you are up for some big laughs and some good natured romantic comedy. I laughed hard many times throughout.
I give it 5 stars and two hearty thumbs up.

I liked it
Good Indy style family disfunction/function movie!
A family decides to take a Roadie from New York to California to see their estranged son/brother, and all their neurosis is laid on the table...
I couldn't take my eyes off Emily Wagner!! She has that "something" look that I love, and a slamming body.. Plus her character is great.. The Parents are completely believable and ordinary.
Worth a watch!
No sex or violence, and makes a good tuesday/wednesday night viewing when bored...

Still Poignant Today
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. I watched this for the first time the other day, this movie is almost 40 years old!
I will say that while film technique and technology have drastically improved, I enjoy seeing the way things were back then i.e. Clothing styles, Cars, backgrounds, furniture, and stuff like that.
What got me to write this review is how pertinent the same issues are today! Gun Control and Crime!
With modern surveillance Bronson would be caught today doing his Vigilante Justice, but back then was totally possible.
Good flick. Dated for sure, but worth watching
