MLB '08: The Show... A baseball fan's review...
2 personnes sur 3 ont jugé cet avis utile. I've absolutely fallen in love with this game! It's incredibly realistic (other than the default team rankings). The "Road to the Show" mode, which is basically career mode, allows you to create a player and follow him on his path to the big leagues and beyond. There is no such thing as being so dominant to the point of senseless boredom, and there is no such thing as sucking it up unimaginably. The game reflects stats that resemble what any baseball fan would recognize as close to that of reality. So far, I can't get enough of playing this game! Wish me luck on my infant career!

Mechanics of Materials (International Version)
This book is ideal for students needing to purchase the "Mechanics of Materials" textbook for a college course. The international version essentially offers all of the same information as the US edition, but is paperback and sells at a much lower price! I, for instance, purchased this edition of this book for about half of the price it would've cost me to buy a USED hardcover from my school's book store. It's also worth mentioning that the book is published by the same company both within and outside of the US, and that even small things such as page numbers match up. The only downfall of purchasing an international version of a textbook is that the local university's book store will, more than likely, not take it as a part of their "book buy-backs" at the end of every semester.

Architecture: A Textbook Worth Reading!
Honestly, this is one of the first textbooks that I've not been able to put down! The photographs of famous structures, along with documention of aspects ranging from construction to past culture, are awesome. Also, it seems as though this book often sells with a slip-on cover (the book itself is hardcover) that keeps the item looking very nice as a whole. Also, as an uncommon book outside of colleges and universities, your local book store will probably find it easy to exploit its customers for much more than this book can be found here online!
