Part of the series, must read to complete it. Enjoyable but predictable.
I've made it a project to read all of the Wallander books. The first one I found by accident. Got hooked. This one is a bit overly long, drags in parts, could be 150 pages shorter.

Good read, lots of detail. story well told by competent author
This is the third book in a trilogy written about the "American War" in Europe. I started the series by reading the first book, which covers the war in north Africa 1942-43. Quite by accident, as I found it in a bunch of other stuff at the Goodwill Outlet store. A few years later, I found the second volume, about the war in Sicily and Italy, 1943-44, which came from a Friends of the Library sale. By that time, I was hooked on the author's style and great attention to detail and research. He is an excellent story teller in a subject that bores many people to tears. Knowing there was this third volume remaining, I had to read it and in order to do so, had to pay "the big bucks" for a used copy on ebay. The author doesn't sugar coat the American effort in WW2. Plenty of mistakes were made. His narrative supports my already held idea that the US won the war with sheer masses of men and materiel. Not without many heroic moments.

I would buy these again
I buy these knock-off brush heads because they cost a lot less than buying "originals" at retail. Not all knock-offs are good; some have bristles that mushroom off to the sides quickly. These, however, have fairly sturdy bristles. I know this from buying trial and error.
