Concise and thorough information on the Infant of Prague.
I bought this because I recently purchased an Infant of Prague statue. I wanted to know its history and the proper way to honor our Lord through its veneration. I'm a busy dad and professional, so I don't have a lot of time to spend in reading large volumes of information. This book gave me what I wanted to know in a concise and thorough way. I'm glad I bought it.

An fast, informative, and entertaining read that was hard to put down.
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. I was interested in this book because it told a story of one communist's part in the the overall attempt to destroy the Church. Although the Church will never die, no one can deny that the visible structures and the hierarchy have been overtaken by those who do not love its Faith and Tradition.
The book told the story of a part of one person's part in this war from the trauma of his early childhood, his joining the Communist Party and great ambition in advancing its ranks, being assigned to wound the Church internally by joining the priesthood, to the deceit he employed in influencing his superiors while in the Church.
Although the story is said to be taken directly from the personal memoirs of the "Anti-Apostle," it seemed like a made-up tale at times because it was hard for me to believe that the main character would write his memoirs like they would be eventually be published. But then as I read his accounts, his extreme narcissism helped me overcome those doubts.
For those who are trying to make sense of the times we are living in, and how "Catholicism" as we know it today could seem so different from what it had been for the nineteen centuries prior to the 1960's, this book will answer part of the question in a very entertaining way.
