Mizuno Raw Haze Wedges 51*, 56*-13 bounce
These wedges are easy on the eye, but more than that, they really perform. Great stopping power and distance control. I've used both Cleveland 588 and Titleist Vokey wedges before, and I like these better. The Mizunos feel lighter than the Vokeys, more like the Clevelands, and are easy to manipulate on delicate shots around the green. I really like the way the club enters the turf on longer shots. It doesn't stub or bounce back, and you can feel the quality of the shot and predict the outcome by the feedback through your hands. One more thing, the 56* sand wedge is so versatile from a variety of lies, even tight ones, that I've retired my 60* lob wedge and put another hybrid in the bag. I think you will really like these clubs if you are a handsy, feel type of wedge player, but if you use more of a body swing with your wedges and are going for distance rather than finesse, you might want something heavier like the Vokeys, which give a lower ball flight.
.335 Tip Shaft Adapter Sleeve for Adams Speedline Super LS FAST 12 Driver Sliver

Does the job
I needed a softer shaft for my Adams driver to get a higher ball flight. This adapter works perfectly, so now I have two shafts for my driver to match course conditions.

Shaft and balance suit my game
I suffered a major illness at age 66. When I finally recovered, I had lost a lot of strength in my legs from being bedridden, and despite rehab and physical training, I'm still a lot weaker than before. With the 2013 metals in my bag I could hit the ball squarely, but not high enough, and I was losing a lot of distance. I recalled that I had played well with these TaylorMade metals many years earlier, but they had a stiffer shaft. After a lot of experimentation at the hitting station of a golf store, I traded out my 2013 model driver, 3, and 5 woods for the 2007 Burners with a senior shaft, and chose the high trajectory version of the driver. I have regained my previous height and distance. Despite all the hoopla that we hear from manufacturers about the newest clubs, these 10-year-old models provide the distance, forgiveness, and workability that I needed to bring my game back to the level where golf is fun again, and I can put a few extra quarters in my pocket again. Be sure to experiment before you buy, and then choose exactly what suits your needs.
