The Shin Megami Tensei series does it again
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. I must say I am extremely impressed with every Shin Megami Tesei series game I've played. Atlus has done an incredible job with this series. It has an incredibly engaging story line that builds up lots of questions that drive you to find out the truth. The battle system is innovative where magic and using it's opposing elements to survived is required. This is not an easy RPG, even being careful it's still possible to run into a group of regular enemies that can kill you if your luck turns sour. The boss fights are tough but not outrageous further adding fun to the whole combat system. If you're looking for an engrossing RPG that requires strategy to beat also I highly recommend this series the Digital Saga, I also recommend Persona 3 and the soon to be released Persona 4. Get these titles while you can they're clearly becoming collectors items.

Amazing RPG
4 personnes sur 4 ont jugé cet avis utile. This game is just incredible it's one of the best new rpg's I've ever played. It's up there in the echelon of Final Fantasy, Xenogears and Chronotrigger. This game is easily 50-70 hours+ and it is hard. Honestly I played it on easy because I saw it said 70 hours else where and wanted to minimize the time commitment but it still took that long to beat. I was going to pick hard and googled to see how hard the game was and most people said even on normal it was ridiculously hard. So this isn't a care bear RPG.
The only fault I've found in the game and this isn't particularly there fault it's more from the fact it's a PS2 game is that the game has a load screen every single time you change an area whether it be your room to the hallway or a class room to the hallway, every single door triggers a 3-5 second loading screen. After I started playing this on my PS3 it did feel like the loading was a little bit faster but I'm not sure if it really was or it just felt it was because of how colossal the PS3's hardware is and I had that connotation.

Amazingly Fun Game!
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. As always Nintendo does an incredible job at making a game FUN. That's what all games need to boil down to. This game is in the vein of Super Mario RPG for SNES just with a different graphics style. Any game cube owner that hasn't had the opportunity to play this game is certainly missing out!
