there is a concealed carry law in nc that allows you to bring a handgun onto school property it must be kept inside a locked vehicle it must be [,inside a locked compartment that is securely attached to the inside of the vehicle] most new trucks and some newer car do NOT have locks on their consoles of glove boxes this makes it illegal to use compartments that your car has this box makes it all legal because with the cable which comes with it you can easily place it around a seat bracket and it becomes a fixed part of the vehicle. this fits easily under the seat and out of site. this box fits any hand gun 1911 , 5"brl. revolver , most any concealed carry handgun .too small for 6"1/2 JUDGE IT WILL DO THE JOB FOR ABOVE APPLICATIONS .SA WELL AS THE $59-$149 BOXES ONLY DOWN SIZE IS WIDTH AND THICKNESS HAD IT BEEN 12X11X3 IT WOULD HOLD 2 GUNS AND CLIPS .I USUALLY CARRY THREE
