Repacked VENZO Road Bike Look Keo compatible Sealed Pedals
09 avr. 2020
Nicer than KEO Classics
I only have experience with the low end of LOOK KEO (the 'Classic'). I bought these so I could ride a second bike with my KEO cleats/shoes and the price was right. I did not have any problems with releasing but I also did not use the cleats that came with the pedals - just the aftermarket ones I already have mounted - so it's possible that I had some cleat wear that helped them in/out. I also liked the metal mating surface (I think it's a stainless plate) that should keep wear to the pedal body to a minimum. Bearings are great so far.
Greg LeMond: Yellow Jersey Racer, Andrews, Guy

Large, content-filled book exceeded expectations.
Disclaimer: it would be hard to write a Greg LeMond book that I didn't like. I love the larger format of this book. So many other cycling books and biographies suffer a little bit from the small-ish photos sandwiched into 'inserts'. This book is the real deal with lots of new photos that I hadn't seen prior. From VeloPress whose cycling books are always great reads and worth revisiting.
Bolton 4 Inch Square Corner Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Hinge NON REMOVABLE PIN
23 juin 2017
Exceeded Expectations
I bought these after mistakenly buying some 4.5 inch hinges. They extended outward from the door and the jamb too far and these were acquired after some searching. They checked all my boxes: 4 inch (width), Non-Removable Pin, Stainless, Heavy-Duty, and Ball Bearings (heavy door). They look well-made and have only been in place for ~30 days but they do look like they should hold up. The finish is quality and they are quite overbuilt, in a good way.
Side note: I installed these on a slab door and had to measure, mortise and mount the door. If you have not done this before (I hadn't) consider hiring a professional. If they will 'plug and play' with your door then great but a lot of the cuts and holes simply cannot be moved 1/8" afterward so frustration is inevitable.
