Workflow miracle!
I'm writing this review after a brief initial test run, and thus far I'm very pleased!
As an indie filmmaker, I've spent countless hours capturing footage into FCP (must happen in real time). The MRC1 promises to eliminate this rather monotonous chore, allowing me to transfer takes directly to HDD !

Great, but the 2009 Director's Cut is Brilliant!
I'm proud to be one of the Sub Class that LOVES this flick! I rented this 2003 version at Netflix some time ago, and enjoyed it so much I tried to purchase it, but couldn't (this was before they offered video downloads).
About 6 months ago, I found the CHEERLEADER AUTOPSY (Director's Cut) DVD at Amazon, and got a copy immediately. This version is vastly better than the original, and contains some extras not found on the 2003 disc. If you're a real fan of 70s/80s Camp, you'll enjoy either version.

Sony Quality!!!
I trust Sony's quality (this is 5th Sony Camcorder), so the learning curve for this model wasn't a hassle. Great product!
