Enjoyed this book capitally. The artwork displayed here goes from minimal to extravagant. More importantly, it displays intent of purpose, and love of everything we hold dear. The full scope of emotion is thrilling and eternal.

Should be required reading for any student of the Civil War.
Riveting story of one of the grandest participants in our Civil War. In the south, we prefer to look upon our departed soldiers of this tragedy as posessing glorified existences, and having displayed extreme gallantry and elan. I do believe there is no one who, being honest, could ever say that Chamberlain does not deserve a sanctified position in the halls of Valhalla. Fascinating book.
