Worth parting with a tenner....just!
A good broad overview of this particular aspect of the 1916 Rising. However, for me at any rate, it lacked the detail I'm used to, and was subsequently a bit on the short side. There isn't even a roll call of the 'rebels' involved, even though this is available elsewhere. For me this seems a glaring oversight. However I would recommend this book as a starting point for anyone wanting to know the general thrust of what happened at at the South Dublin Union.
