An Accurate Picture of the History of Flight . . .
I purchased this book for my 17-year-old daughter; it's her "favorite book in the world!"; at least that's what I learned when I saw a library copy of it on her desk. My daughter is planning a career in the USAF (just as her older brother, who has been an Airman for over 12 years now). According to both of them, this book paints an accurate picture of the History of Flight. The information, as well as the amazing photos, makes one feel as though he/she is living and walking through the different moments of the development of our technology in creating "Air-born" adaptability and the passions of so many who made it possible. I couldn't help but get into it myself . . . a fabulous reference for those who want to learn about our evolution of the airplane, pilots, forces of motivation, etc. "Flight" is a must-have for those interested in this topic.

Beautiful Pictures! Great for Beginners too! And There's More . . .
I purchased this particular type of colouring book for a friend of mine who recently had a stroke and needed physical therapy to regain small motor skills, ie; moving his hands and regaining the ability to hold small or thin objects. What I love about this stained glass book is that it has wide black lines preprinted as part of the picture allowing for colouring 'out-of-the-lines' without diminishing the effect of the project. This colouring book is much more enjoyable for my friend. He doesn't become frustrated while practicing. I love to see him smile at the progress he has made in the past few months! The pictures always turn out so pretty and there's no upset when missing the mark! We use waterproof markers; but, I imagine crayons would work just as nicely. My only issue is that I'm running out of 'window space' to hang all of the designs!

For "Structure-Oriented" Sponsees
Some of the newer people in Recovery (AA) have told me that they are extremely structure-oriented and that following this book's outline helps them to feel more comfortable working the steps. One of my sponsees said to me that it "takes the mystery out of the work"; many newcomers are slightly fearful of that sense of hearing people talk about these steps and not having a clue as to what they are. This workbook is also perfect as a gift to one of those (of us) who don't get a sponsor right away; they have an opportunity to go through it and get an idea about what our 12-Steps are and how they work. Note that this is "Bible Based" and I haven't had anyone complain yet; however, some may object to that fact.
