Nostalgic as hell
It's funny how this device takes me back to the days when a USR modem was the ne plus ultra for getting online. I felt sorry for even opening it -- still in the original plastic after all these years. Still the most functional and compatible model USR made for the PC. All the software I have recognizes it and can use all it's functions (it's a winner with hylafax if you need a low-cost fax solution).

Windows-only modem
USR products are generally reliable and good quality. This modem is one of their cost-cutting models that is primarily implemented in software on the host system, which makes it of limited utility if the OS it was designed for no longer exists. Read description closely before purchasing.
