Son loves it, but I question durability
My son loves it. The Rajiv does not take batteries, it is just a pull along train. Regardless, my son has wanted an “airplane” Thomas for the last year, so we bought after he earned it.
I didn’t rate it “durable” or give 5 stars because of the Thomas and it’s battery access. Normally Thomas toys require you to use a screwdriver to access the battery. The Thomas is held together by 2 small “tab” latches. He can access the batteries at any time with force. It’s not the batteries I’m worried about, it’s the toy’s durability because the plastic holding the tabs closed is extremely thin and can easily break with force or extended wear. I’ve watched him take it apart and bend the thin plastic area until it strains to the color “white”
