Solution to mobile operation
I use my Icom ID-51a in the field and keeping the batteries (I have two) up is always a concern. The quick charger and the wall charger require either an AC source or an inverter powered off a vehicle. This solves that issue by powering the charging off the accessory jack. In addition it is possible to change the setting on the ID-51a so that I an continue to use it while charging.
