FOR 98-01 FORD EXPLORER SUV SMOKED HOUSING REAR RED LED 3RD THIRD BRAKE LIGHT
26 nov. 2017
Looks cool, it works, but...............
The light works fine, has the requisite gasket on the back to prevent water infiltration into hatch and correct factory plug. Gasket is a bit thinner than original, but still can work. I recommend removing gasket and using weatherstripping tape or some other suitable material. The BIG issue I found is the mounting studs for the light are OFF SPEC, the center alignment of the outer 2 mounting studs are each 1/32 off center, this causes the outer mounting studs to NOT line up and , I had to open up the holes with a drill to make it possible to stab them in the mounting holes without forcing it. NOTE: if you force it into holes it will break the stud out of the thin plastic casting on the light. If you have a drill or dremel and a few minutes, its not a big deal. I would also highly recomment using Loctite or equivalent on the nuts, very poor quality and they are supposed to grip lock, however i had issues so i used loctite.
Mini Portable USB Rechargeable LED Flashlight Lamp Keychain Pocket Torch Light
06 nov. 2019
small, bright, worth the $$
This is my second time purchasing one of these lights. It is USB rechargable. It is much much brighter than any of the other subcompact flashlights offered on EBAY. The actual size of the light is about 1 1/2 inches long, and just a bit bigger in diameter than a number 2 pencil. It is the approximate diameter of your typical AAA battery pen light. The run time is pretty decent. I get about 1/2 hour of constant run. Only down side is it is quite easy to lose if not tethered to something. Hence why i had to buy another. i keep this on the motorcycle with a couple other misc. tools for emergencies. Great value.I am buying a 3rd shortly, for the keychain.
Work Sharp WSKTS Knife and Tool Sharpener Kit
29 oct. 2017
Does the job and then some.
I purchased the Work Sharp mainly because i have a large knife and multitool collection in need of regular sharpening and maintenance. The bulk of my collection is high end relatively expensive items that i really dont want to use a cheap stone sharpener with. The Worksharp has a slight learning curve, not much, just get the feel for the tool. I like the relative ease with which it reshapes the blade with the coarse grit belt. Then use the intermediate grit, 220, it shapes and rough sharpens. The 6000 grit belt will put a razor sharp shaving edge on almost anything. What i like best is the speed at which it does it. I reshaped and sharpened chipped dull abused blades from cant cut butter to shaving in under 3 minutes. Very consistent edge, very clean, it looks professionally sharpened. I recommend immediately getting an additional 6 pack of 6000 grit belts, as those do wear fast. the coarser belts tend to last much longer. The only negative thing about the tool is the belt tensioner arrangement, it does lock down but be careful or the spring loaded will launch like a rocket under spring tension, also be sure to test run the belt before putting the guide on to insure the belt is centered or it will ruin the belt. You may need to tweak the tensioner a bit to insure straight belt. I highly recommend this tool, just had a "redneck weekend" and i toted this thing along. all were impressed, and yes they left with razor sharp knives, i was nice like that. They will be buying one, they already said. Its not the cheapest tool in the shed, But the cost is far outweighed by the near immediate results. Another good thing is it removes a minimum of material to achieve maximum sharpness.
