Not a microphone
This is a microphone-shaped music player. The buttons on it only play music. There is no microphone in this device. That is not stated anywhere in the description.

Good for its purpose
Great little device. It's not going to be recording studio quality, but it's good enough for what I need. I use it for a separate mic input just for talking.

Great for wall mounting speakers
I use these in the wall of our rec room and mount our speakers right over top. It's a nice way to finish the wiring, but also small enough to be hidden behind the speakers.
