Zumba Fitness (Wii, 2010)
I wanted to buy Zumba fitness because I had just gotten a Wii for xmas and because I am unashamedly addicted to zumba classes. I would say that this program does provide a workout that compares favourably to a zumba class at the gym. It is fun and gives you an adequate workout. There is enough variety and enough of a challenge to hold the attention of more experienced users and I do believe it offers enough of an introduction to zumba that would allow the novice to find his/her own level of expertise. The program provides feedback to let you know how close your movements are to those on the screen. My only complaint is that I find the dancers on the screen are a bit difficult to relate to since they do not at all look like people but like colourful shadows or figures. This results in a decrease in my interest over time.
