HP 02 inks--Small, pricey, typically HP
No wonder the printers are so inexpensive--the HP company soaks you royally on the teeny-tiny ink cartridges! It's nice that each color is set up invidually because they have to be replaced so frequently and the waste would be spectacular if they were all in one cartridge. [For example, having to replace the whole cartridge because the light cyan is out even though there is plenty of ink left in the other 4 colors.] In addition, some cartridges register they are empty when they clearly are NOT. No more HP printers for me!

Really Fun, but they empty after a while.
These always get a laugh when I show off the various ones I've bought, but they fail after about 6 to 8 months. The liquid gets weird and starts to disappear without any obvious leak. But for the price, they are fun and make a great gift.
