70's style but timeless humor!
I remembered this movie from the 80's and loved it. I thought Richard Dreyfuss was hilarious and the little girl was just too precocious and cute. I got the DVD and was not disappointed. The movie was as good as I remembered and although the clothes and styles are obviously dated (this was made in 1977 I believe) the humor and issues are timeless. There are some great lines from this movie, one of my favorites being "because of a mentally arthritic director, I'm about the to play the second greatest role in the history of the English speaking theater like a double order of fresh California fruit salad!". Very funny and touching. Recommend.

Like cotton candy...
This movie is like cotton candy, light, fluffy and sweet. Doesn't hurt that it includes a bit of eye candy as well. Nia Vardalos plays a classical history professor who can't get a job in her field so she becomes a tour guide instead. Her tourists are rather stereotyped (at first) but the characters grow as the story moves on and you discover new things about everyone. There's enough humor to keep it from getting too heavy (there are a few sad moments) and the scenery was just gorgeous! Overall very enjoyable and the music is good too! Makes me want to visit Greece!

A good video to pep up a boring workout routine
I bought this video because I had gotten in a rut with my routine and wanted something new and fresh to shake things up. The Biggest Loser definitely did the job! I enjoy the variety of the workouts and intensity (I did not care for the boot camp section though, a little too intense) but I will say the video's one major downside is that this is NOT for beginners! Keep in mind that the Biggest Losers that are in this video have already slimmed down! These are not for exercise novices or anyone wanting to get back into exercise after an injury. Many of the moves (such as lunges) you have to build up to the intensity that the people on the screen are at and while Bob does a good job of encouraging you to keep moving, you can't always keep up with the people on the screen. The good news is, you probably won't get bored of this anytime soon. I use at least 3 of the workouts (with the warm up and cool down each time too) one day a week for variety and am quite pleased. Definitely recommend.
