Guitar Hero Smash Hits - nostalgia in a box.
I bought this game because the Wii missed out on the first two guitar hero games - Number 2 I missed especially because of the late nights I had with several friends. To keep the good times rolling, Treyarch pumped out full band versions of the ''favorite'' songs of Guitar Hero history. For the most part its true. Sounds good and plays good and its fun to try those good GH classics on the different instruments.
One thing I noticed though is that a game like this could have been easily been made ready for downloadable content for GH5 and GH6WOR. I think it was unnecessary to throw this in stores at full price - we have already played these songs.
Make sure to look at the setlist of this game before buying it. You might have some songs on your previous GH games. Its a fun product, but not worth a full 50 dollars. If you get a deal on it though, go for it, because these are songs you want to rock out to in your living room!!!

Looking for great quality 3rd Party games for the Wii system can sometimes be hard and deceiving. Fortunately, I was able to see that THQ really did a fantastic job making a fun game with tons of style, family oriented gameplay, and also an overall challenge.
De Blob has the funniest game concept - to start a color revolution against an evil force (INKT) threatening to take ALL color away. You as ''Blob'' - literally just a blob of paint - have to break paint bots and start repainting the world with a variety of challenges.
Its sad to know that these kinds of gaming gems made specifically for the wii are being overlooked and not getting the attention they deserve. I strongly encourage anyone to buy this game, for the addicting gameplay, fantastic music that just keeps you moving throughout the game, amazing art style and controls.
Don't be fooled into buying lower quality games that just look like fun on the box. Its what you play that counts, and one needs to know what he is buying. Reviews are plentiful, just search carefully and shop wisely.
The game will charm you from the first cutscene. Its one of the best deals you can get right now on your Wii system.
