I am in LOVE with this book. Dr. Balo's book is a breath of badly needed fresh air among the dozens of badly written art instruction books on animals and birds. The text is well-researched and explained concisely and simply. Combined with Dr. Balo's carefully drawn and annotated diagrams, this is a must-have for artists who want to take their bird drawings to the next level. The drawings are so beautiful and I highly recommend it to all bird lovers out there.

The book is very special, you won't find anything similar in German-speaking countries. I love the illustrations and the fact that you learn something about birds on every page. The author is a great person and you can feel her passion. Thank you for this awesome purchase.
