Has everything you want in a good classic camera
The Minolta XG-M has pretty much everything you want in a film camera. It is well made, has nice features and there is a good supply of them, making them affordable. Pros: Nice automatic and manual features Depth of field preview Exposure compensation Excellent lenses Cons: No display of selected shutter speed in manual mode Plastic body is not as durable as older metal ones Get one and you won't be sorry

One of a few ultimate film cameras
The Pentax LX was one of those great ideas that for some reason never took off. Clearly the LX is a pro level camera with all the features and system accessories needed. However for some reason, pro photographers never took to it. History aside, its clear that the LX is an iconic camera with everything you would need in a camera. The LX is compact like the Olympus OM series cameras (which I love) has the build of an old Nikon or Canon. Pros: -Compact metal body -Amazing metering, maybe the best for an SLR -Nice informative and uncluttered viewfinder -An unrivaled collection of K Mount lenses Con: -I can't find any other than the high price
