Way too Short!!!!
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. This is, as the title says "The Killer Compilation, and as the companies slogan says, "Only the Good Stuff."
Well, to me it's only the "good stuff" when you have the rest of the movie. If you wanna scare somebody then
don't tell them you're going to do it. When you watch a Horror movie, you know it's coming, but you don't know
when, or where it's coming from. With this, they tell you that you're about to see (insert scene here) which lets
you prepare yourself, and to me ruins he experience. On the other hand, for people like me who have seen all
of these movies countless times and know what's coming, it's not scary anyway. So if you don't mind skipping
the story and just watching a handful of "scary" scenes then this DVD is for you. It's great for Halloween parties!!
"The scariest Boogeymen ever to appear on film! Together for the first time! In the Ultimate Horror Experience!" is
the catchphrase on the cover, but the "ultimate" part is incorrect. The Bravo Channel, for years now have shown
their documentary, "100 Scariest Movie Moments" and is to me a far better product. I wonder if it's on DVD??
The scenes featured are all introduced with movie facts and character bios, and are as follows...
Pinhead - "Hellraiser"
Freddy - "A Nightmare on Elm Street"
The Djinn - "Wishmaster"
Leatherface - "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre"
Ghostface - "Scream"
Leprechaun - "Leprechaun"
Chucky - "Child's Play 2"
Candyman - "Candyman"
Simon - "The Ugly"
Fisherman - "I Know What You Did Last Summer"
Camilla - "The Guardian"
Dr. Feinstone - "The Dentist"
The Tall Man - "Phantasm"
Blade - "Puppet Master"
Norman Bates - "Psycho"
Jason - "Jason Goes To Hell"
Michael Myers - "Halloween"
Can you believe that all of this is covered in LESS THAN AN HOUR!!!??? Seriously, not enough content.
On several of these I think there were much better scenes to be chosen, but I didn't make the DVD so I can't
say what should or should not be on it. There are some cool special features including Animated Trivia, Trailers,
Audio Commentary from Robert Englund (Freddy Kreuger himself), Name That Frame Trivia Game, Enhanced
Scene Selection, Legends of the Boogeymen, FlixMix Recommendations, and cool Exclusive DVD-ROM Content.
I recommend this DVD to anyone who wants something cool to play during a Halloween party, someone looking for
scenes without the rest of the story and people who are just getting into Horror.

The main event is GREAT!!
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. This is the 6th installment of TokyoPop's FMW DVD series. This one is special for a few reasons. One
is this is the last volume featuring the hilarious Eric Gellar. No he's not doing any more FMW DVDs.
It's also the last time you'll see the Snake Sisters. After this DVD they get all serious. No more jokes,
no more witty banter, no more eye candy. To some this is a good thing. To me, not so much. The new
guy that takes Eric's place, Dan Lovranski will make you miss Eric. He's not funny, though he tries to
be at times, he's "world renowned" yet doesn't know everything he talks about. Just see my review for
FMW's "The Flying Assasin" for more on this. This DVD also features the last match of Mr. Pogo.
He has since come out of retirement (as 99% of all wrestlers do) but it's still his retirement match.
All matches are from FMW's "Year End Sensation" from December 21, 1995.
Gekkou vs. Gosaku
Gosaku gets his butt kicked bad. Gekkou, as goofy as he looks, really takes it to Gosaku. One kick
to the forehead and Gosaku is bleeding... bad! Brutal match!!!
Sub Miss Sato vs. Kaori Nakayama
Bad Nurse Nakamura vs. Yukari Ishikura
Tetsuhiro Kuroda vs. Katsutoshi Niiyama
Niiyama gets nowhere near the amount of credit he deserves. In this match he manhandles Kuroda.
Kuroda at this time is still fairly green, and is a mid to lower card wrestler. Fans of FMW know that
later on, Kuroda becomes a top star and even holds the belt on more than one occasion.
Masato Tanaka vs. Mr. Pogo
Tanaka was running his mouth, and by the end of this Deathmatch, probably wishes he'd kept it closed.
This match is brutal. Pogo takes his famous sickle and just jams the point into Tanaka's skull. That's
just one part of this match. Tanaka gets it really... REALLY bad in this match.
Combat Toyoda & Bison Kimura vs. Megumi Kudo & Ajya
(Women's Wrestling School, Class of 1986 Reunion Match)
This is a good match, mostly because of Toyoda and Kudo in my opinion.
Super Leather, Hosaka & Kanemura vs Jason the Terrible, Hido & Matsunaga
(Caribbean Barbed Wire Spider Web, Double Hell Glass Crush Kenzan Deathmatch)
W*ING members decide to show what the Deathmatch style is all about in an attempt to
call out Hayabusa for a Deathmatch. W*ING feels that they, not Hayabusa have been
chosen by Onita to carry on the name of FMW. As brutal and bloody as this match is,
all participants, W*ING teammates, embrace eachother when it's all over. RESPECT!!!
Bonus material for this (and pretty much all of this series) are a bonus match, Hayabusa featurette,
Wrestler Bios, original Japanese audio and Spanish subtitles. Not much bonus material but you'll
be buying the rest of this series for the matches!! More brutal Deathmatches, and fantastic WRESTLIING
to come from TokyoPop's FMW: Hardcore Wrestling Made in Japan DVD series.
