Aluminum Gretsch Bridge
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. I bought this aluminum bridge to try on my Gretsch G5420T. I was aware that the post spacing on the pinned bridge base of a G5420 is slightly smaller than the required spacing of the bridge. But because this bridge is aluminum, I was pretty sure I could enlarge the mounting holes towards the outside of the bridge, and then it would fit the stock bridge base of a G5420. Luckily, I was correct in my assumption. Enlarging the hole by just 1 mm on each side makes the bridge fit on the stock G5420 base! I tuned the guitar up, and to my surprise the intonation was nearly spot on on every string without requiring me to reposition the base. The tone change from the stock tune-o-matic bridge went from bright and unremarkable, to a warmer, more noticeable snappyness on the low strings, and a definite growl and twang that I was looking for. The bridge also fits the 12 inch radius of the G5420 perfectly. And palm muting is quite easily done with this bridge installed.

Just what my Scion FR-S was needing!!

The Tifosi Won't Enjoy This...
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. I'm a huge Ferrari fan, so I was looking forward to this game coming out. Boy was I dissappointed!! First off, I consider Gran Turismo to be the benchmark for all racing games on the PS2. I have played other games, such as Burnout, Need For Speed, TOCA, Race Driver and several Formula 1 games, some of which have steep learning curbs. But this game has one of the worst learning Curbs I have ever seen!
Car control on the Ferrari F430 is terrible, if you don't have all the driver aids on MAX!! You can only use the brakes going straight, or you get severe understeer in the corners. You have to use the throttle to steer while cornering, which causes oversteer, and you spin if you get heavy on the throttle. Which is very frustrating. So why not have the drivers aids FULL ON you ask? Because to unlock other Ferraris you need points earned Racing. You get MORE points if you Win, and you don't use the aids. And the points decrease to ZERO if you have the aids at max.
The Car graphics aren't bad, but the Track Graphics Suck!! MONZA is on of my favorite Tracks, I know it like the back of my hand... But It's nearly impossible to see in this game, because it is so dark and grainy, you can't see corners until you are in them!! And you can't read the track markers very well either. I drive with the game camera either IN CAR, or on the BUMPER. DO NOT use the bumper cam!! If you tuck in close going into a corner,the rear of the car in front of you is all you see...not any part of the track on either side.
The game menus are slow loading, and confusing to understand, the sound options are not very good and It wasn't put together very well. I believe because the game was a port from the PLAYSTATION 3 version. It even says on the case that pictures on the back are from the PS3.
Save your money, and buy it used if you have to have it. I traded mine in after two weeks... It just wasn't FUN.
