Best Computer I've Had
Overall I've been very pleased with this purchase. Computer is very fast and reliable. I like the unibody enclosure, very clean and simple. The only other mac I've had was the Titanium Powerbook G4 and that thing lasted me 10 yrs no joke! I am an artist and this computer serves me well for all my needs.
Everything on this computer is a big improvement from the Powerbook I had before. Overall construction much better. Love the trackpad and keyboard is great. I had 2 pc's before purchasing this one. They were good computers but I guess I just prefer the experience of the macbook pro. The macs are much more user friendly and simple, which I like. Also the fact you can run Windows on a mac is a plus in case I need to use any Windows based applications.
I also use music making programs and have had no problems so far running them on the mac. The pc's are a different story, always had problems with the audio interface I was using and music programs would crash frequently. I had always set aside 1 computer for only making music but with this macbook pro I can do everything on one computer!

Great Interface
Had some other M-Audio interfaces and never had much luck with these units. Always got pops and clicks no matter what kind of computer I used. The Focusrite Interface is the best I have ever used so far. Extremely clean sound, no pops or clicks while recording. Seems stable and I like the multiple ins and outs. Connects through firewire so maybe this is why it seems more stable than the usb interface I had. Overall sounds great and definitely worth the price paid!!
