First Into Action, Duncan Falconer
Great book, much better than I expected. Some reviewers say they are annoyed with the author's coldness, brevity and lack of detail of certain events but I think that's due in part to the need for confidentiality of those events. I was not bothered by it and did not feel like it detracted from the book. I thought it had a plethora of information and events that were explained very thoroughly. If it was too DETAILED or too GENERAL then I would question it's authenticity. The mystery and anonymity of the SBS, as the author says, makes their job easier. This is the book to read if you want to read about the SBS or even the SAS. I'm burned-out on all the SAS/SEAL hoopla and wanted something a little different. The SBS are not as well known as the SAS in Britain and even less so here in the US, I only found this book when I was unknowingly transferred to Amazon.uk. Buy it, it's a great book.

Too Small For Adult Cats
3 personnes sur 4 ont jugé cet avis utile. Suitable in size only for kittens. I have adult cats so I immediately tossed out the ladder/ramp. The 2 round disks on top were also useless because they block the cat's ability to jump up a level or down a level. They also use up lounging space. Whoever builds a lot of the cat trees I see for sale are not built by people own cats! The top box does not need 2 holes and cats like to feel secure so I cut the fabric off the 2 round disks & stapled them over the round hole on the top box like a flap. It makes the cat feel more "secure." The round hole and the arch on the top box were reversed on mine. I immediately then gave it away to someone who had a very small adult cat and so far they love it. It was cheap so I couldn't really complain, I would've just donated it if I didn't have a friend to give it to.

Actually Works
I bought all kinds of brushes and combs and I will NOT shave my cat, but I saw a lady review this on Youtube. When she said this was THE ONE that really did work I had to try it, especially since it was so inexpensive. Yes, it really does work. Unfortunately my cat won't stand for it more than a minute and that's not long enough. The directions say not to pull but push into the mat and break it up, but my cat won't sit still for that even for a couple seconds. Gently pulling a small piece of the mat at a time seems to be the way for it to work for me and my cat, even though the directions say not to do that. It may not be perfect for my cat but it did work MUCH better than anything else. It did remove a few stubborn mats when nothing else did (other than scissors - gasp!)
