Compact and holds my two heavy keyboards without a problem

I already had an old version of this stand and I love that one. The legs fold up inside and the arms store inside. It has a carry handle so it's very compact and easy to transport. I bought this one so I can leave one set up at the practice studio and take the other one gigging. I love that the new one has locking legs and came standard with one set of the 18" tribar arms. This one is my new gigging out stand. I just ordered the microphone boom attachment so I won't need a separate mic stand. I also love the newer rounded design and the black color. I use it to hold a Korg Triton Studio 76 key on top and a Korg Triton Extreme 88 key on the bottom arms. I have them both up high so I can stand the whole time. It does shake around a little, but I've never had it come close to tipping over. Lire l'avis complet

Almost perfect product for only 50

Starting with what could be better:
1) The plastic in the support arms is clearly marginal. This could be made of forged aluminum and be almost as light, and much sturdier.
2) With a microphone mount on the top, you risk damaging the threads when deploying it the way they recommend (upside down, top on the floor)
3) The proper use of the "fourth foot" in the front and the optional angle device in the back are not well explained.

Those are merely suggestions to the manufacturer.

The rest is all good:
1) Although at 29 pounds, it's heavier than my previous very heavy Z-stand, the fact that it is carried as a single unit with about one dimension far outweighs the 30% weight penalty.
2) Wow, is this thing FAST to set up! You have to adjust keyboard heights the first time you use it, but then clamp them in place. After that, it's easy. Turn it upside down. Hold upright with one hand. With the other hand, pull one leg out while pressing on the release, then repeat for the other two legs. Give each leg a sharp rap on the end to click them in place. Turn it right side up, pop open the top, extract the two or four arms (depending on one or two keyboards) and snap them in place. Done. Very seriously, less than one minute.
3) FAR easier to carry than even the smallest Z-stand I've ever had, and even more so compared with X-stands. It sits on top of the bag for my 88-key piano across the back seat of the car, and is no longer than the piano.
4) Although you have to take a little care in positioning the three legs, once there, it's less wobbly than any X-stand I've had, and comparable to all but the best Z-stands.

Carrying bag is nice to have to avoid scratching it, and since it is between you and the audience, looks do count.

Mine is black, and I like that color because it does not draw attention away from the performers on the stage.

Stable, Sturdy, Stupendous

This is my second AX-48 pro. The first was stolen a year ago, and I spent a long time comparing other stand styles and manufacturers, looking for a stable stage solution that also folded into a compact form. This is literally the only thing I think passes the test besides the Spider stands (but they're over 400 bucks!). Its stable, takes a beating, and super versatile. Plus it looks good on stage! I only wish the available gig bag was worth a damn. I had it before but it ripped very easily due to the stand having some not-so,round edges.Lire l'avis complet

Very Nice Stand, Strong And Portable

This stand is very nice and portable. You will laugh as I did watching how to lock in the legs on Youtube as many on there are having the same problem. It took some time to figure out that the legs have to be locked in with force. Something that you would not normally think and the way the instructions don't describe, how the legs position. One you have that figured out, than mission is accomplished.Lire l'avis complet

Almost Perfect.

Would have given it 5 stars, had Bull Audio not sent me a damaged stand. Besides that, it's everything I could hope for. It does the job brilliantly.

GOOD BUT NOT THE BEST

PRODUCT IS EASY TO SET UP AND USE. STORAGE OF THE SUPPORT ARMS IS SLEEK. HOWEVER BECAUSE OF THE POSITION OF THE FEET IT IS DIFFICULT TO POSITION THE PEDALS OF A KEYBOARD
